The OSC history

The Ontario Sciene Centre open itīs doors in September 1969. Since then over 37 million people visitet the Science Centre.
The Science Centere was created as a centennial project and so the official name is the "Centennial Centre of Science and Technology".
Over the year more and more "Theme Parks" were added to the Science Centre. For example in 1973 the Science Circus, Seeing Brein, Bodyworks and Optickles were added to the park.
In 1997 the Centre completes his renewal and changed the half of itīs exhibitions in only 5 years.
After that in 1998 the Siecence Center became the fastest growing tourist attration in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
The newest Attreaction is the "IMAX" Dome Theatre were you can see and feel the "FORCES OF NATURE"
